CONGRATULATIONS to Adam Kaplan, Adam Grossack, Alex Hudson, John Marriott III, Jourdain Patchett & Jesse Stern, who will be USA1 for the Damiani Cup at the World Bridge Series in Philadelphia in October. The Kaplan team won their Semi-final and Final matches convincingly and we hope that they will continue their winning ways in Philadelphia! The winner of the second final (it was double elimination) was RIZZO (Zandy Rizzo, Murphy Green, Andrew Jeng, and Richard Jeng), who defeated DAS (Ricoh Das, William Dang, Angie Green, and Mili Raina). Well done to all!!

The tounament welcomed a lot of talented young players, with the majority being 10-16 years old. Most of the players were also part of a thriving youth program in Atlanta, and the second final was all Atlanta players. Thanks a lot to those who have given their time and talents to youth bridge in Atlanta. It is really paying off.  If we had another 100 such programs, we would change the face of bridge.
