Bids that Require Advance Preparation

1C strong, with relay responses:
-1D 0-7, could be GF without 2 controls.

1C - 1H+ 8+ HCP with at least 2 controls; Artificial relays (TOSR - Transfer Oriented Symmetric Relay) with the intention to show shape, then HCP.
    - 1H shows 4+ spades,
    - 1S shows balanced (including some but not all 5332s)
    - 1N shows 4+ hearts, not 4+ spades
    - 2C shows 4+ diamonds, no 4M unless 3-suiter
    - 2D shows 4+ clubs

However, note that this may be a range of hands from single-suited to 2 or 3 suited, (e.g. 1H showing 4 spades may be 4 spades and longer other suit, or 3 suiter, longer spades, etc.) -
Recommend to not orient about first shown relay suit as responder will fully shape out in a later step.

In direct comp (1H+): Pass = 0 to 7 or trap; other natural and GF;
In delayed comp: relays are on except if whole level of bidding is taken; pass continues relay and double is penalty.

1D 2+ 10-15 HCP; if balanced, 10-13. 1D 2H/2S = Reverse Flannery (5+S, 4+H; not invite/invite respectively)
negative freebids in competition
transfers over 2C and 3C.

2C = 6+ clubs, 10-15; 2D is GF after this; 2M is non-forcing constructive

2D 10-15 4415 minus a card

2N 3-9 hcp, at least 5-5 minors (in 4th seat would be more like 6-5 with 8-10ish, but same concept as opening a weak 2 in 4th)

General Bidding Style

Very light aggressive openers.
1C 16+ / 17+ in 3rd vul and 4th
1NT 13+-16 except 15-17 in 4th or in 3rd vul
We tend to GF only with 14+ after a 10-15 opener.
Preempts can be light when non-vul in 1st or 3rd seat.
Several of our bids that look traditionally forcing can be NF (e.g. negative freebids, or over weak 2s) - we will alert

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

3/5 against suits, 4th v NT. Generally 3/5 after trick 1.

Rusinow against NT and also against suits in our own suits.
Coded 10s and 9s in the middle of the hand.

Defensive Signals

UDCA. First signal is attitude. We give count regularly but not always.
Reverse Smith
Frequent suit pref, but probably not as extra about SP as some others. When giving suit pref, Q and T are high and J and 9 are low.
