Precision 1D opening: 0+D catchall, 10-14 (13-15 bal) in 1st/2nd seat, 10-16 (15-17 bal) in 3rd seat, 11-16 (11-14 bal) in 4th seat. 1st/2nd seat responses are as follows.
- 1H = 4+H (no 4S unless inv.) less than GF or 8-11 bal.
- 1NT = any GF, relay.
- 2C = majors less than GF.
- 2D = 4C5+D less than GF.
- 2H = 5S4H, weak inv.
- 2S = 6+m weak inv., or 12-13 bal.
- 2NT = 4D5+C, serious inv.

Precision 1M opening: 5+M, 10-14 (13-15 bal) in 1st/2nd seat, 10-16 (15-17 bal) in 3rd seat, 11-16 (11-14 bal) in 4th seat. 1st/2nd seat responses are as follows.
- Pass = can be as strong as 9 or 10 count.
- 1NT = any GF, relay.
- 2C = inv. catchall, no M support.
- 2D over 1S = 5+H const. to inv.
- 2M-1 = 3+M, 9- or serious inv.

Precision 1NT opening: 10-12 in 1st/2nd seat, 10-14 in 3rd seat, 15-17 in 4th seat (occ. upgradable 14). 1st/2nd seat responses are as follows.

Precision 2C opening: 6+C, 10-14 in 1st/2nd seat, 10-16 in 3rd seat, 11-16 in 4th seat. 1st/2nd seat responses are as follows.

- 2H = inv. catchall.
- 2NT = 5H weak inv.

Natural 1C/D/M openings: 2+C (including all 17-19(-) bal) / 4+D (maybe bal) / 5+M, 11-21.
- 2D over 1C = multi, a weak two in either major.
- 2NT over 1C = bal GF, 13-15 or 18+.
- 2H over 1m = reverse Flannery, 5S4+H, less than inv.
- 2S over 1m = inv. raise of m.
- Gazzilli after 1H-1S or 1M-1NT.

Precision / Natural 3NT opening: major 8-8.5 tricks.
Precision 2NT opening: 55+ minors preempt.
Preempt 2M opening: 2S and 2NT responses over 2H opening are inverted (2NT = S).

Transfers over 1m (X/1D/1H) when we open or 1M (X) when we open or overcall.

General Bidding Style

2 systems played:
- Natural 5542 when Vul except 4th seat, open almost all 11s.

Variable 1C and 1NT ranges in Precision:
- Strong 1C 15+ (16+ bal) in 1st/2nd seats and 17+ (18+ bal) in 3rd/4th seats.
- 10-12 NT 1st/2nd NV, 10-14 NT 3rd NV, 15-17 NT (occ. upgradable 14) 4th seat any vul.

Natural 1NT 14-16 (occ. upgradable 13), 2NT good 19-21.

1st/3rd fav preempts can be very light, 3rd seat white actions can be wide ranging.

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Vs. NT:
- 4th best except for Hx(x).
- Highest affordable card from bad suits for attitude.
- Partner's suit (natural 1C excluded): High from xxx or xxxx if raised, 3rd/5th in general.
- Power lead: K for count or unblock.
- Std. honor leads: T from AT9(+)/KT9(+), J from AJT(+)/KJT(+), Q from KQx(+), A from AKx(+).
- Occ. incorrect honor or spot.

Vs. Suit:
- 3rd from even, low from odd.
- Partner's suit: High from xxx or xxxx if raised, others the same.
- K for count or unblock, and A or Q for attitude (at 5+ levels).
- Std. hornor leads (A from AK, J from AJT/KJT).
- Occ. incorrect honor or spot.

Following:
- Return: Count first, often 3rd/5th of remaining cards.
- Shift: Generally attitude, 3rd/5th under honor, top from bad suits.

Defensive Signals

Priority: UD Attitude -> UD Count or Suit Preference, vary with logic.
UD discard: low encourage, high discourage.
Lots of suit preference when applicable (e.g. in trumps).
