In our own 1H-1S auctions we play 1N is weak NT, H + D, or 2533 17-19, 2C=H+ C, 2D=15+ with 6+H or 3S, 2S=4 or 3 unbalanced.

General Bidding Style

5Major 3+minor at 1 level 14-16 & 15-17 1N (NV & Vul) upgrade possible
Essentially all our opening actions can be lighter NV
Normal preempting style, W/R could be aggressive 2 level
Overcalls especially NV could be aggressive
3rd seat actions can be aggressive

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Lower of touching honors mostly at T1 (some exceptions)
3/5 suits, 4th NT, K is power Vs NT
2/4 thru declarer mostly (some exceptions-Q in dummy, suit broken)

Defensive Signals

Standard carding at T1 only (except discards) UDCA after T1, including present count
Usual priority at T1 is attitude
SP in a smith situation
SP is possible in trumps, or when following with low spot cards
