| 3rd seat NV 1N opening shows 10-14
Our run out system over PEN X of 10-14 is: XX = Two suited (not +Major)
2 = , , , + , or +
2 = , , or
-- If or we are willing to play 2 undoubled
Bidding a suit and redoubling is often asking 1N opener to bid the next suit 1 - 2 NF
1 - 1 0-4 (like a forcing NT)
1 - 2 5+
1 - 2 3(4) limit raise or minimum GF |
We play transfer responses to our 1 Opening, which can be as short as 2 . 1 opener is semi balanced or unbalanced, usually has 5 + (only 4 if some 4441). We open most 11+ HCP balanced hands NV, most 12+HCP balanced when vulnerable. Transfer rebids after 1 -1M 14+-17 NT Opener in all seats and position except for 3rd seat NV then it's 10-14.
GF relays: 1 - 1N
1 - 1N
1 - 1N
Aggressive 2/3 level preempts NV |
| STD Attitude T1 ONLY
UDCA Standard S/P 3rd/low against suits and NT Standard Honor leads K is power lead against NT REV Smith Echo T2 ONLY vs NT 2nd/4th Shifts through declarer including honors. - Both defenders have to have all of the original cards in the suit - Does not apply to suits bid by partner We give UD original count - Usually while pitching after we have given an attitude signal |
| STD Attitude at T1 ONLY
UD attitude is our primary signal followed by UD count then STD S/P. We always try to give the signal that is most useful to partner Will card randomly if we don't think partner needs to know or has nothing to do. |
