15-17 NT some 14s with 5 card suits We open all 12s and some 11s or 10s with good shapes and/or good suits. 5 card majors 3 card minors Weak 2s in DHS 4-10 2/1 GF Most of our bidding is natural but we have several artificial gadgets including a few relays for showing/asking for short etc. |
| All of our leads are low from even. 2/4 from odd. We lead low from doubletons up to the T. J and higher doubletons lead the honor. Our honor leads are also 2nd highest and do not need to be touching. Example: We lead J from HJx and vs Nt we include J from AQJ. Vs Nt our K lead is power asking for unblock or count and Ace lead is asking for attitude. Whenever we are on lead we use the same leading rules from our current holding. If we need to make a logical bridge play we may adjust accordingly. We can lead 2/4 from bad holdings tending to lead 4th reserving 2nd highest for high interest in switching as opposed to low interest in continuing. |
| Our carding is UDCA. Generally we give attitude then count then suit preference in that order and we skip steps we think our partner doesn’t need to know. |
