Bids that Require Advance Preparation

2C = either a weak two bid in D or a normal strong 2C opening bid.
2D = multi, always a weak two bid in a Major
2H/S = 5H/S and a 5 card minor. Green against red in first could be 5M and 4m.

General Bidding Style

We open all 11 counts regardless of vulnerability. Our 1D opening shows 4 so 1C could be a doubleton but is NOT forcing. We tend to bid over 1C. A 1D response is any 0-7 or natural. 1H/Sshows 7+. 1C-(p)-1D-(p)-1H = either C and H or a weak NT. Opener can not be 4/4 in the minors or 4/4 in the blacks.
1C-(p)-2D = weak multi
1C-(p)-2H = 5S and 4H, not Invitational
1C-(p)-2S = weak, going through 2D is stronger
1NT opening in first and second is 14-16, green in third also. In fourth always 15-17

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

We lead ace for attitude and king for count. Russinow against NT. Third and low against suit contracts, fourth against NT.
AFTER TRICK ONE WE PLAY SECOND AND FOURTH, EVEN LOW FROM DOUBLETON. Reversed smith against NT

Defensive Signals

We play mainly count but ace lead ask for attitude. First discard is odd/even. Standard remainder count. Discarding from 3 small cards, the highest, from 5, middle. If we encourage on an honnor lead we play upside down.
Count is also upside down.
