2D overcall of 1C bid shows majors and 2C overcall of a 1C natural opening bid shows C

2/1 GF, 5 card majors, 15-17 HCP NT
Unbalanced 11 HCP always opened
Balanced 11HCP sometimes opened
3rd seat openers can be very light esp. NV vs. Vul. With 4-4 in majors open 1H.
Weak 2 bids vary with Vul and seat. Undisciplined 1st and 3rd favorable.
1M P 2C is GF but may have more diamonds than clubs. 1M P 2D and 1S P 2 H promises 5.
2 Way NMF and XYZ

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Lead 3rd and 5th vs. suits, 4th vs. NT
May lead second highest vs. NT from 4 small and no sequence.
A from AK except at five level
A asks unblock or count, K asks attitude

UDCA vs. NT and suits. Standard remainder count.
Trump used to give count of key suit if an option.
