Bids that Require Advance Preparation

1D - 2M:
2H = 5+s/4+h, pass or correct
2S = 5+2/4+h, invitational

1M - 2M-1: xfer to 2M, either:
a) min raise, or
b) if responder bids again, invitational
i) also 1S-2D, 5+ hearts

1H - 1S: NF

Relays off after interference of 3+ steps

1C interference, DBL by either is:
after [semi]positive response Penalty
after negative response takeout

General Bidding Style

Strong Club w/symmetric relay (1D 0+)
aggressive, get in quick, and out quick,
any action could be lighter than expected,
light NV opening bids
10-12NT nv 1st/2nd/4th seats, otherwise 13-15
1M-2C: artificial game force
1M-2NT: Mixed raise+, requests loser count 3c=5,etc)
NV weak 2-bids: 5card suits, 3-9, responses other than 2NT (1-round force) are non-forcing.
nv 3x: usually 6-cards

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Suit Contracts: 3rd from even, low from odd. A from AK (K asks for count at 5level+).
K in partners suit, shifting to singleton
NT Contracts: Rusinow honor leads against NT, attitude leads.
K is power lead (unblock or count)

0 or 2 higher switch after trick 1

Defensive Signals

Standard carding.
Mostly suit preference, primarily at trick 1, and on first discard. Count rare, only when needed.
Smith echo (from both sides)
Rarely signal vs slams.
Avoid signaling when possible.
