General Bidding Style
| Preempts can be 5+, generally solid preempts except 3rd seat, where anything goes.
We do not raise 3rd seat preempts without good reason. Sound overcalls, takeout doubles are solid (exception for shape) We generally invite solid and accept light (for games and slams) We rarely make psychic bids, but if one of us do, it is usually Gan Yang. |

Attitude: Reverse Discards: Lavinthal Default priority on partner's lead: ATT-CT-S/P Default priority on declarer's lead: CT-ATT-S/P On lead of A/K, we signal S/P when dummy indicates as necessary. We do not play smith echo. We show count following suit when it is obviously needed. We play count returns for suited and attitude returns for NT contracts. We generally do not signal on discards but if we do it is on the first discard and is lavinthal. When in doubt we do not signal. We echo trumps when necessary (ruffing S from xSx). |
