Bids that Require Advance Preparation

Transfer responses to our 2+ 1C, including over double.

General Bidding Style

We open most 11 counts nvul and have discretion to do so vul. Third seat can be very light.
1C can be 2 with 4432 11-13 or 17-18(19) or any balanced minor suit opener 17-18(19), such as 3442 or 3352.
We tend to open 1C with (32)44 weak NTs and 1D with (41)44
1NT changes from 14-16 to 15-17 in 4th seat, or vul in 3rd. 2N changes from 19-20 to 20-21 with it.
We may have to rebid a 5cd club suit with 1435 minimums after partner shows spades.

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

4th vs NT, 3/5 vs suits. 4th with interest in middle of hand (high/second high without takes priority).
A power vs NT, K att, Q att/unblock J

Defensive Signals

UDCA. Usually attitude at trick 1 or SP if dummy makes attitude irrelevant or lead known shortness (count T1 vs NT when not contributing to dummy's trick).
We give a lot of (standard) suit preference.
rev smith vs NT.
