Bids that Require Advance Preparation
Veal and Genheimer use a 2 Flannery opening. Also, we use the corollary of 1 in response to 1 as promising 5 or more Spades. Also, we use 1m-2 as Reverse Flannery(4-9HCPS). |
General Bidding Style
| We open almost all 11 counts(4333 hands we use judgement). In 3rd and 4th, we open even lighter. |
Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand
| No changes from the beginning of the hand to the end. We play 3rd and low against suits(no coded 10's and 9's), and 2/4 against NT(2nd from a bad suit, 4th from a good one). |
Defensive Signals
| We use UDCA with a emphasis on attitude in suits and reverse count in NT. We do use Reverse Smith Echo for NT and standard trump suit preference. On suit preference situations, we use standard signals. Our signals are more believable earlier in the play than late. |
