VS NT
4th best leads. Second best from bad suits
Frequently lead from 3 card suits
K is the power lead (partner plays highest honor or count)
Rusinow from length (4+)
attitude shifts

VS Suits
3rd and 5th leads.
Opening lead - either the A or K vs. suits. Ace requests standard attitude unless dummy has a singleton, Kx, or KQx then partner's card is Suit Preference
Opposite the King lead or ANY other opening lead, partner's card is suit preference.
Attitude shifts in the middle of the hand
Middle of hand, shift to either the A or Q asks standard attitude; shift to K asks standard count

Defensive Signals

After trick one, we play standard count and attitude.
Our first signaling priority (after trick one) is attitude.
Suit preference in trump
In NT, if Dummy wins trick 1 with Q or lower, we give count
Smith echo vs NT (high encourages) unless obvious count situation.
Standard present count.
When splitting, we split high
10/9 0 or 2 splits middle of the hand
