Bids that Require Advance Preparation

We open 1C with 4H,4S,3D and 2C
We play Jacoby 2NT in which the response is 3C for weaker hand and 3D for hand with singleton or void and 3 of bid major to be strong without singleton or void. If opener bids 3C partner can bid 3D to ask for what suit the singleton is in and if opener bids 3D and partner responds 3H that is asking for the suit which the singleton is in.

General Bidding Style

2/1 GF, can have 5 major for 1NT

We typically open light when we have a rule of 20 hand. The length required in suits opened is 2 for clubs, 4 for diamonds, 5 for hearts, and 5 for spades.

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Opening leads in suit contracts is low from an honor , partners suit, or a singleton/doubleton. In NT we lead fourth from longest or partners suit. We lead A from AK and Q from QJ10.

Defensive Signals

We play UDCA and attitude is the priority signal. We signal for attitude every time a suit is led by partner, count generally on opps leads.
