Strong Jump Shifts

General Bidding Style

We do not open as light as many pairs do. We might pass a 4-3-3-3 12 count.

We do routinely open really light in 3rd seat.

We will occasionally upgrade a 14 point hand to 1NT.

We will respond light on occasion, depending on shape and vulnerability.

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

We play UDCA, but standard CA on A leads at trick one. Also on K leads at trick one at the five level and higher.
