General Bidding Style

Opening bid style is sound in 1st, 2nd, seat, especially VUL.
We may open light in 3rd seat for a lead, or to protect in 3rd, 4th seat

1M is expected to be 5-cards, could be 4 in 3rd,4th seats.

Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand

Vs. Suits we lead 3rd from even, low from odd, except if we hold xxx and have supported partner, we lead high.
STD honour leads A from AK.
In the middle of he hand we may lead ATT, especially thru declarer.

VS. NT Ace and Q ask for ATT, K asks count or unblock, otherwise STD Conor leads. 4th best from an honor, from weak holdings we may lead higher depending on the spots.
In the middle of the hand, leads may be ATT or count depending on what partner knows or may need to know.

Defensive Signals

VS ALL: Trick one is STANDARD, for as long as partner holds the lead. UDCA for the rest of the hand. Discards are UDCA.

VS suit; order of signal is generally ATT, then count, unless SP seems either obvious or suggested in cash out situation. We may also refrain from giving count if we think info helps declarer too much or is irrelevant to partner.

VS NT. also trick one STD, then UDCA. Order of signals same as above, except on the K lead where we give count or unblock.
We play Standard Smith Echo.
If we can't beat the dummy we give count.
