Cynthia is a third-year at the University of Chicago majoring in philosophy and creative writing and minoring in mathematics. When people ask her what she wants to do with those degrees, she says, "be employed." She learned how to play bridge during her first year in college and now runs the UChicago bridge club, where she has no authority. In her spare time, she goes swing dancing, writes poetry, and watches Bon Appétit videos.

 

Thomas Scruggs is a recent graduate from Carleton college in Minnesota. Thomas first started playing bridge as a member of Carleton's bridge club in 2017. He currently lives in Palo Alto, CA.
