The 2024 USBCs will be held in May in Schaumburg, Illinois to select teams for the 2024 World Bridge Games, for which neither dates nor site have yet been announced. The USBF is entitled to one team in each division of the World Bridge Games, so the USBCs are all one‑winner events. Based on feedback from the 2023 USBCs, we will start the face to face stages of the 2024 Mixed and Senior USBCs with up to 16 teams, to be reduced to 8. If 9-13 teams enter, the first 2 days will be a Round Robin; if 14-16 teams enter, the first 2 days will be KO (with 15 or 14 teams, the top 1 or 2 teams based on seeding points will have a bye to the Quarterfinal). Other than that significant change and some tweaks to the LoveBridge environment and penalties for pairs that use too much time, the formats of the 2024 USBCs will be the same as the 2023 USBCs.
