Hi, I"m a Junior studying Computer Science at UC Berkeley.  I've been playing bridge basically my whole life but more seriously [including semi-professionally] the past 6 years.

I was so happy this summer to win the U26 Junior World Championship in  Lyon with some of my teammates for this event, and even happier for my dad Michael to win the Bermuda Bowl at the same time.

Looking forward to this event, and also to seeing how the U21 and U16 sections go since I've helped train a lot of the kids playing in those events, through Silicon Valley Youth Bridge (SIVY).

Oren grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and went to college at the University of Chicago. He graduated in 2016, and since then he has played and written about bridge full time.

Oren has represented the US in international junior competition in 2014 and 2016 and has won a gold and a silver WBF junior medal. His articles appear frequently on bridgewinners.com and in The Bridge World, and he has written for the ACBL Bulletin.

When he is not playing bridge, he likes to play other board and card games, particularly Barbu, Hanabi, and Tractor.
