About the Players
Adam Kaplan lives in New York City, working on his last-minute travel startup.
He has been playing bridge since age 5, and has won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals representing the USBF in junior competitions.
Outside of bridge and studying, he is a prolific traveler, and has visited over 80 countries.
Zach is currently living in New York City successfully playing bridge full time. He earned a degree in Psychology from Tufts University in 2019. He is the youngest GLM recorded in ACBL history.
Zach has represented the US in junior championships since he was 14 and has many medals and achievements to date.
Hi, I'm a Computer Science graduate from UC Berkeley. I've been playing bridge basically my whole life but more seriously [including semi-professionally] the past 8 years.
I was so happy in 2017 to win the U26 Junior World Championship in Lyon with some of my teammates for this event, and even happier for my dad Michael to win the Bermuda Bowl at the same time.
Looking forward to this event, and also to seeing how the U21 and U16 sections go since I've helped train a lot of the kids playing in those events, through Silicon Valley Youth Bridge (SIVY).
