The 2016 Women's USBC will be held in accordance with the USBF General Conditions of Contest and the Special Conditions of Contest for this event. The Conditions of Play contains those sections of the Special Conditions of Contest that apply to this year's event.

Format Before Semi-Finals

The first stage of the event will be a 2 day "Knock-in" on May 30 & 31. The Quarterfinal teams have been ranked by Wagar seeding points and the highest ranked team (Wittes) is Team 2, the second highest ranked team (Palmer) is Team 3. The other two teams were randomly assigned as Team 4(Weingold) and Team 5 (OSMO).

On Monday, May 30, Wittes will play a 60 board match against OSMO and Palmer will play a 60 board match against Weingold. The winners of those matches will qualify for the Semifinals.

On Tuesday, May 31, the losers of the May 30 matches will play a 60 board match. The winner of that match will qualify for the Semifinal; the loser of that match will be eliminated.
