2024 Sam Amer JUSBC
The 2024 JUSBC will be named after Sam Amer (1993-2023). Sam was a bridge professional in NYC and was a beloved member of the bridge community. He was a former member of the USBF Junior program and represented the US in the 2018 WYBTC. He was known for his incredible kindess towards others and his infectious passion for the game.

The 2024 Sam Amer Junior US Bridge Championships (SAJUSBC) will select teams for the 2025 World Youth Bridge Team Championship. It will be held at the Atlanta Peachtree Hyatt Regency, starting on Friday 12/27/24 and ending on Thursday 1/2/2025.
The WBF has not yet announced dates or location for the 2025 WYBTC, but recent WBF Junior Championships have been held in August in Europe.
The SAJUSBC will select two teams in each of 4 divisions:
- Under 26, competing for the Patiño Cup, is open to all players born in 2000 or later.
- Under 26 Women, competing for the Rona Cup, is open to all female-identifying players born in 2000 or later.
- Under 21, competing for the Damiani Trophy, is open to all players born in 2005 or later.
- Under 16, competing for the Koç University Cup, is open to all players born in 2010 or later.
The Under 26 and Under 21 categories will be a teams event. The Under 26 Women and Under 16 categories will be an IMP pairs event.
The 2024 SAJUSBC will include a training camp as well as competition. All players will be guaranteed 2 days of training camp and at least 1.5-2 days of competitive play.
