Emma Miller
Emma Miller is a sophomore at American University where she is studying Public Health, Literature, and French. She was born and raised in Reno, NV. She aspires to be a medical examiner and a pug owner. |
Emma Kolesnik
Emma is from Ventura, CA and currently a first year student at Scripps College in Claremont, CA, majoring in Math and Computer Science. She is a member of the Harvey Mudd College bridge team. Emma learned bridge from her parents when she was 8 or 9 years old, but has only been playing more seriously in the last few years. When she's not playing bridge or studying, Emma enjoys baking and doing volunteer work with local underprivileged students. |
Morgan Johnstone
Morgan Johnstone, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is in her second year of pursuing a B.A. in Earth Science at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and will be volunteering in a Hydrogeology Lab spring semester. Since April, when she played in her first duplicate match, much of her free time has shifted to time spent playing bridge. She is currently a co-president of the new UMN Bridge Club and is working towards developing a team to represent the University in the College Bowl next spring. |
Lauren Liu
Lauren Liu, age 15, is a high school sophomore from Princeton, NJ. She has been playing bridge for nearly two years. She has played in nationals and youth nationals in D.C. and Toronto. Lauren was selected for the USBF Junior training program in December 2016, and learned a lot under the guidance of world-class players. In 2016, Lauren played in Sweden with international youth bridge players. She is also an ABCL Certified Bridge Teacher, and volunteers to teach weekly local youth bridge classes.
Aside from bridge, Lauren is on the Mock Trial team for her school and the varsity rowing team for Mercer County Club. She is also an editor of her school’s magazine and a semi-finalist in the World Dance Championships. |
