Hi! My name is Brian Zhang. I live in Dublin CA, and I go to school at James Dougherty Elementary school. I play saxophone for the band, although I'm terrible at it. I started playing bridge about a little over a year ago, and I was bribed into it. My dad bribed me into it by saying, "You might get sleepovers if you play bridge", and I got hooked. When I first started playing bridge, I realized it was a really fun and social game that is really good for making your brain think. It also helps me from being bored sometimes. The best things in my bridge "career" are (A) having friends that also play bridge (my teammates), (B) family playing bridge, and (C) getting into the round of 8 in the Mini - Spingold 0 - 2500 at the summer nationals in 2019. I'm really looking forward to the trials and (hopefully) getting to represent the USA in the World Youth Bridge Championships in Salsomaggiore, Italy. |
