Jeff Wolfson won the bronze medal in the 2000 Bermuda Bowl, playing with Neil Silverman, Chip Martel, Lew Stansby, Michael Rosenberg & Zia. Jeff & Neil were coached by Larry Cohen for that event. Jeff  then took 10 years off from bridge to spend more time with his young children. Now he's back, playing with coach Larry. Teamed with Rosenberg & Willenken and Israelis Ginossar & Pachtman, they finished 4th in the Rosenblum.

Larry and his wife Maria live in Boca Raton, FL, where he can pursue his fanatical interest in golf - he loves watching and also plays a sound game (11 handicap).   Although he is best known as a writer (To Bid or Not to Bid, his first book explaining the Law of Total Tricks, was the world's best-selling bridge book of the 1990s), Larry has also won two World Championship medals and 21 North American titles. In 1998 Larry and David Berkowitz came as close as it is possible to come to a World Championship without actually winning. In the World Open Pairs, they led throughout the five-session final, only to be overtaken on the last two boards. They also won a Bronze Medal in the World Team Olympiad. Larry began playing bridge at the age of six and became a Life Master at 17. He won his first NABC title, the Spingold, at 22. He has also won the Spingold again, the Vanderbilt, the Reisinger twice, the Grand National Teams, the Life Masters Men's Pairs, the Life Masters Pairs, and the Blue Ribbon Pairs a record four times. Larry has won the Cavendish Invitational Pairs twice and the Cap Gemini Invitational Pairs in The Hague once. Bart Bramley

Bart Bramley

An MIT graduate, Bart grew up in Connecticut. He learned bridge at a young age (both parents played) and got serious in college. Among his wins are the Vanderbilt, the Reisinger, Blue Ribbon Pairs, LM Pairs and most recently the 2007 World Senior Bowl. In WBF events, Bart was third in the Rosenblum, fifth in the Bermuda Bowl, second in the Transnational Teams and second in the World Par Contest. He was also captain of the U.S. team in the Olympiad in 1996. Bart has served on several ACBL committees, writes frequent bridge articles, mostly for the popular magazine, The Bridge World, where he is a staff member. Bart now resides in Dallas with his wife, Judy, and their two cats.

Chris Compton

Bridge Resume: Chris began playing Bridge professionally in the ACBL at the age of 17. He is a World Grand Master and an ACBL Grand Life Master with over 20,000 ACBL masterpoints. While representing the United States, Chris placed 4th in the 1986 World Open Pairs in Miami, Florida (at the age of 26) and again placed 4th in the 1998 World Open Pairs in Lille, France. Chris continues to represents the USA in international invitational events on a regular basis. In the US, Chris  won the 1989 Reisinger Board A Match Teams at the Lancaster NABC and the 2007 Jacoby Open Swiss in Detroit finished 2nd in both the 1986 and 2005 Vanderbilt Knockout Teams. Chris has at least 3 additional NABC 2nd place finishes, and no less than 6 semi-final appearances in Vanderbilts and Spingolds. Playing in a series of Bridge Pro Tour individuals during the year 2003, Chris won $16,400 and remains the BPT all-time winning money leader. Chris enjoys playing high stakes rubber-bridge at TGR’s Bridge Club in London and the Cavendish Bridge Club in New York. He has authored the teacher manual for 2/1 Texas Style and offers this class periodically at the Bridge Academy of North Dallas. Chris often serves as a volunteer lecturer at ACBL Regionals and Nationals. Chris served as President of the United States Bridge Federation in 2004 and is presently 1st alternate to District 16 of the American Contract Bridge League. Personal Life: Chris Compton has a B.A. in History from the University of Houston and a J. D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Chris presently plays professionally while performing a modicum of legal services. Donna and Chris live in Dallas with two daughters, ages 16 and 13.  Daughter Taylor will be playing on the USA Rona Cup team in the World Junior Championships this summer.
